Art and Architecture: Facade Restoration Program

The façade restoration program was developed in the early 1990s to protect and elevate the visual impact of the Penn-Liberty historic district. A total of fifty-one buildings were eligible for façade restoration grants in cooperation with The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Urban Redevelopment Authority.
