Robbie Klein is a well known musical name in Pittsburgh. He is gifted with the ability to play many different styles of music from classical, latin, swing, funk to R&B. Robbie created and hosted the Jazz Cruises on the Gateway Clipper Fleet for 12Years and played the Kool Jazz Festival and Mellon Jazz Festivals. He has opened for John Scofield the Yellowjackets, CBS Allstars ,Chicago and many major R&B acts as well as being a solo act at Star Lake Ampitheatre for 3 years. Robbie has worked with the Cultural Trust for years, being involved with Playworks, Mary Miller Dance Co. Three Rivers Arts Festival and various cultural festivities. Robbie Klein & Friends has been his jazz logo for many years and his friends are the best musicians in Pittsburgh, always great for an improvisational experience.
